TV is Evil

I’ve been thinking about the double meanings of words. We use the same language to describe a good night for a comedian as we do to recount the activities of a serial killer: “He really killed tonight!” Words on television are usually the safest words, especially TV show logos – frozen in a commercial vacuum, they become squatters in our pop vocabulary yet we never pause to consider their possible implications. I can think of no worse fate for a good set of words. The following pictures represent my attempt to regain the ferocity of a language defanged.
